An awesome show. My 7th John Butler Trio Concert. Of course Ocean was the best I have heard it, but that is true of most times he plays that song, cause it just evolves from show to show, and I have never been to a show he hasn't played it at. Anther thing that sets this show apart is The Gov Did Nothin. I have only seen him do it once before and it was a nice surprise.
Finally, the one thing that really blew me away at this show was the band singing part of "used to get high" in rounds. I always loved songs as a kid with different people singing differnet parts and it is a rarity in modern music. I have not posted any torrents in a long time. If there is any trouble with it, let me know. greyculver@mac.com If there is any interest in this torrent, then I will also post my recordings of Ben Harper at this past Bonnaroo, and I also got the superjam with Ben Harper, John Paul Jones and, ?uest Love. John Butler Trio June 17th 2007 1PM Central What Stage, Bonnaroo Manchester, Tennessee Recorded with an Edirol R-09 by Roland from the front row. Recorded in 24 Bit 48 khz WAV format. Edited in Peak LE 4 (massive amounts of editing...gain changes to cut out loud claps, bring songs up to reasonable volume, fade outs on a few tracks, cut out silent times, and anything I could do to make it sound better) Transferred to flac with xACT 01. I got the superjam up.
Ben Harper will be up soon. The Superjam recording isnt as good as the JBT show, I was in a bad spot for recording for the superjam. For the superjam, I could hear more out of the amps than the PA so the vocals are real faint. |

There have been some complaints about these three shows I posted.
Chech out the audio sample before you download to make sure this is up to your standards. I am an audiophile and am happy with them, but some people called me on being an amature at this in my recording and converting to a torrent. |

Not so much critics, I don't wanna hate. Just some people been having trouble, more of a disclaimer.
Okay, I need some reimbersment. For all that I have done, getting this to you guys... Can someone find out who does that version of feeling good that the Trio walks out to in the Intro. It is the same song the last 3 times I saw em live. It is their que to come out on stage. I know the song is 'feeling good'. But I can't find out which version of the song they use. If someone can find out for me, I'll call us even. ![]() |
